You might have posted this info somewhere else already, but I'm just wondering--what program do you use for your graphics?

I've been trying for a while to create desktops as good as yours, but I can't seem to get the right effects.
Thanks for the comment.

I'm using Photoshop CS for everything. CS3 isn't bad either, so you can use that one as well. Good luck!

Thanks. I guess Photoshop Elements 5.0 wouldn't have the same effects and tools, huh? xD Or not really...

But I really like the way you play with the light on your graphics. ^^
Thank you! *huggles*

Dear Amantine,
I realised that I had already seen some of you works (precisely: Worth It and In The Midst) on a site devoted to Supernatural Fan Art (what was the name of the site? Salvation? Maybe not.. I don't remember, sorry. But that was even there when I, having seen your style, told to myself that you possesed the technics that always fascinated me. It looks like galathea's technics, but you works are not only tecnically beautiful. They have what I call a soul, while galathea's are quite empty *I don't like this word, but this is my impression*) And if you accept, I would really love to communicate with you via msn or hotmail, because it would be a pleasure for me to keep in touch with such an amazing artist as you are. No concurrence, no jealosy. It would be my honor to learn, even partly, how you manage to create such a beauty. Maybe me too I could teach you something. I would particularly be grateful to you for your collaboration, because I have a personal affair that is really important to me and to each of my fans. I'm writing an epic story, having for than 21 readers by now. Supernatural fandom, yeah, but it's somehow something more to everyone that just a fic, because the story has been 219 pages long so far, and its length will be doubled or maybe tripled to the pleasure of everyone). Besides writing, I'm also doing illustrations when I find time and rigth material, and OSTs too. And your style is absolutely gorgeous and I would be grateful till the end of my days (that's for sure, I'm not exagerrating) if I could do something like your wallpapers exclusively for my story and not for any other purpose. I will credit you as my teacher, so taht everything is fair. Just want you to know that I am completely stunned by your SPN gallery, and that, if you allow, I'm taking Redemption. Am really looking forward to hear from you. It will be a great pleasure for me to welcome you on my Deviantart page, as well as to establish a contact via mail. My address is julia.kudry@hotmail.com . Take care. I am really happy to find you here. Thank you in advance. Julia aka Lion_Heart

Dear Julia,

Before I get to anything else, allow me to thank you very much for your appreciation of my work. It may surprise you, but it was galathea who taught me most of what I know. By studying her work, I came to do what I do today. Since you’re familiar with both my and galathea’s art, I’m almost certain that the site you came across us was Provenance.

Now, as for what you ask of me… I’m afraid that I’m going to have to decline. I can guide you towards a site that has many tutorials that could help you with your own work - but what I think is more productive would be contacting Chris (galathea). She has far more experience than I do and would be able to offer you many more tips that I can.

In what concerns ‘Redemption’, you can take it, so long as I don’t see it posted anywhere else on the Internet. The wallpapers are for personal, private use only.

Again, thank you for your words and interest. Good luck with both your art and your fiction and I hope to be hearing about you soon - possibly from a well known fanart site ;)

Dear Amantine,

Your letter was such a greatly structured one, that I felt guilty for having left you a far more informal message on your page at 2 a.m. To businness: you are absolutely right about the site's name; nevertheless, I was in the rigth direction: both Provenance and Salvation are episode titles. Thank you for giving me the link, which is now in my Explorer favourites.

As for your soft refusal, be sure that I understand the reason perfectly and that I don't even think about getting enraged :) On the contrary, I am thankful to you for your frankness and even more - for the link to the source of pure in inspiration from which I will certainly take some gallons of magic retouching tips :) But, this time not for the record, let me return to what I've said about the difference between yours and your teacher's art. Remember it, because I'm not giving compliments for compliments' sake but because I really do mean what I say. And it is priceless that you go on in the same direction and never sacrifice your art's living essence in the name of flawless finish. All my respects to Chris who never stops stunning me with her works, but in my opinion, the pupil has overcome the master.

Concerning "Redemption", I'd like to assure you that I'm not the one who has a habit of reposting. I was surprised to see some of my works on Facebook pages of people whom I don't even know and whom I would never come across if not a friend of mine. Another case is serious: one of the artists whom I met yesterday, was alerted about the fact that her Buffy fanart was being sold on eBay by somebody, 15 dollars a picture, by an usurpator. As I'm perfectly conscious about the meaning of the word rescept, be sure that I don't have any intention to use your work anywhere else except my own desktop. The same rule is applied to LJ. That is why everything is in a special folder on my hard disk drive where it will stay. With no way online.

And now my final reverance: as for kind words, you are always welcome. And as for me, I'm going to go on:) And,so that everything is fair, I'm adding you to my Deviantwatch. Who knows what you will soon create?.. :)

Greets,
Julia

Hey, sorry to reply so late. I'm currently having limmited internet access.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to decilne you request of poting "Glass city" on Fanpop. I've had some problems with art theft there and I'd really not have any other pictures appearing on that site. If it was any other, I'd have gladly given you my permission. I'm really sorry.

Thank you very much for asking. *huggles*
